October 20, 2024 – Jerez, Spain – The Kove Racing Team made history at the final round of the WSBK-SSP300 at the renowned Jerez Circuit, securing a hard-earned victory in the second race. This remarkable achievement marks Kove’s first-ever world championship win in a production motorcycle racing event.
In the first race, Kove's No. 48 rider, Julio García, narrowly missed the top spot, finishing in second place with an incredibly tight margin of just 0.003 seconds behind the winner. It was a preview of the triumph that awaited the team in the following round.
In the second race, Julio García delivered a flawless performance, claiming first place with a 0.028-second lead. His victory secured Kove Racing Team's first world championship trophy in production motorcycle racing. Adding to the excitement, Kove's No. 22 rider, Marc García, earned third place, making it a double podium finish for the team. Both riders standing on the podium together was a truly unforgettable moment for the team and its supporters.
In celebration of this historic victory, Kove has officially named the production model equipped with the same engine, the 350RR, as "Jerez." This name serves as a tribute to the team’s triumph at the Jerez Circuit, honoring the perseverance and teamwork that led to this significant achievement.
