The fourth round of the FIM Superbike World Championship has been hosted by Autodrome Most this past weekend. KOVE Racing Team arrived with a clear goal, to improve bike’s performance. Before the appointment in Czech Republic, the team organized two days of testing, which served to recognize the problems suffered at Misano. A development work that was reflected in #CzechWorldSBK results.

On Friday, riders faced the Superpole with so few laps, and a red flag two minutes from the end, neither Marc García nor Julio García could close a good time attack. The #22 would start from ninth place while his teammate #48 would do it few positions behind, thirteenth.

Race one was marked by six riders in the lead, one of them Marc García, who was rolling with the group the whole race until on the last lap he overtook his rivals to take KOVE back to the podium in second place. Julio was not entirely comfortable with the motorcycle settings, and closed the day with a twentieth place.

On Sunday race two was a real chaos, Julio opted for a new configuration that helped him to recover good sensations, although he had to avoid a multiple crash, he was able to save the situation and finished seventh, after been fighting for the podium. Malaga’s rider ended up happy because the development is working and he can be competitive again

Marc García was motivated to get a new trophy, but in the first corner, another rider collided with him, taking him off the track. He fell to the last position and had to go back up. Finally he ended twelfth, but with a lot of desire to demonstrate his potential on the next round.

Both riders will continue to work together, to bring the brand to its best version. The next appointment will take place on Portugal's roller coaster, the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve
